New Archive Campaign 2012
To date we have been storing and processing items for preservation in a temporary module at the back of the campus next to the apartment and in the Bockius-Orr house.
We have immediate need for room and climate controlled environments to continue to collect and preserve our special treasures of the Pajaro Valley. Over sixty years ago, a community of concerned citizens banded together to give us what we enjoy and deeply treasure today - our history, preserved in the form of collectibles, clothing, journals, and images. It's now our opportunity to preserve for future generations their treasured history. We are so pleased to announce that ground was broken for our new "Bornia Archive and Alzora Snyder/Jane Borg Research Center" on November 15, 2012. We look forward to welcoming everyone to our new facility in the fall of 2013!
